“Yansa” - Sable Border Collie - (Dad)




Just an average walk at the park.  Yansa is such a good dog. 


Yansa loves to “race” the atv.  He always wants a head start.  He is on an underground fence and knows when he has to stop.  He will do this until he dies if you let him. 


Yansa loves the sun, but also wants to keep an eye on us.   He obviously has the 2 BC traits of balance and no fear of height. 



At 8 months, Yansa has shown that he just loves to please.    He barks at appropriate times (and sounds like he’d rip your head off), but he is really gentle, settles right down and wouldn’t hurt a fly.  We are also doing “parkour” at times.  Rock climbing, climbing up fallen trees, jumping on stumps, etc. 
At 4 months, he is house trained, comes, sits, lays down (even at a distance or on a run), heels, and is learning “speak” and roll over.  He also is very athletic, but has “dial down.”   He knows jump, up, get in, over, under and around.    But it’s more than that.  He is the most personable, friendly, fun lil guy.  He’ll lean on you and put his head on you like he is saying “I love you” and he really wants to please.

His color is awesome and he has a very black nose.

“Lounging:”

Description of Yansa’s Mom:  Easy Rider “Harley.  AKC Black & white     Daughter of Mystical Tornado "Dusty  & Sweet Asher.  Harley is a silky-haired rough coat with a petite build.  Like her mother, she is exceptionally smart, athletic, fast, quick, and loves attention. Like her mother, she learns quickly and likes to please.  Her puppies are outstanding prospects for flyball, agility, disc dog -- anything requiring speed and quickness.  Her pedigree include Twinceders Boone, Imp Twirl, Imp Tan, ## Imp Craig (Great Britain International Superior Champion, and #Rob, Great Britain National Champion and son of GB International Superior Champion Spot.  

Description of Yansa’s Dad:  Maximum TNT “Nitro”.   AKC Blue Merle      Nitro is the grandson of Rockin G Spurs, the world's most winning cowdog from 1992 to 2005 and the GCCA Open Cowdog of the year in 1995, 1997, 200, and 2001 and Visions Out of a Dream who is major pointed in conformation.  Also in Nitro's pedigree are Bismark's Flying Colours and Hastings Liz, both producers of MACH champions in agility and flyball, and CH Borderwind Kentucky Gold an AKC American Champion.  Nitro's puppies have shown themselves to have easy going personalities which make wonderful pets and also possess the speed and athletic ability to excell at agility, flyball, and other sports.

What is most amazing is the “dial down” ability of Yansa.   He can play “hard,” but when it’s time to settle down, he has no problems.
